Snow, decorations, dogs and more
Phil visits (up from Daytona Beach) for the holidays. Dennis flew down a couple of days before Christmas so that they could drive up together on Christmas Eve. In the meantime, Mary and Madeline went to work on the basement, decorating the rec room with lights and pretty fabric. Everything–including a nice sticky toffee pudding–was ready in time for the menfolk to arrive late Christmas Eve. It was very… ‘I’ll be home for Christmas.’

It was an explosion of Christmas cheer… lights, nutcrackers, stockings and trees… Madeline was glad to have a traditional Christmas after having lived in a dorm for several months.
