The pines and Mary’s art
The pine grove at the north end of our property is the site of Mary’s environmental art. The first three shots were taken during the time she was working on the berm and the star series log sculptures, named for the star pattern found in the cross-cut face of some of the logs used. The berm is still untitled (until Mary determines the cordage of wood buried in the piece). The scrap metal piled up in the third photo came from the site. It was scattered throughout the pines and buried under a wood pile.
