13.5 inches so far
At dawn, in the eerie light of the snow, I went out to empty the ash bucket so we could scoop some more from the wood stove. The snow went up over my boots. I measured it out in the open over a paving stone, 13.5 inches and falling heavily. I noticed in the turkey enclosure, three of the hens had roosted on top of the feed station for the night. They were nestled between mounds of snow. The pictures are not that great, what with the low light and heavy falling snow, but you get the idea.
